My hair!!!

Had a typical study abroad moment, last night I tried to do my hair. In the process I destroyed a blow-dryer, fried a converter and scared myself half to death. Today I had to purchase a new converter for my laptop and I broke down and bought a new european blow dryer and flat iron :). I also met some new Canadian friends, Brazilian friends (there are a lot of students from Brazil in Amiens) and bought some interesting new items from the grocery store, tonight I will eat good pasta and drink good wine, C'est Bon!

Visa Appointment

When to the French Consulate today to get my visa and was super excited until I realized I was super lost. Note to consulate, if you are located on Lenox Rd and not Peachtree then your address shouldn't say 3399 Peachtree Road NE!!!! Its ok though, I made it through and the appointment only lasted 10 minutes. All is good, should have my visa in a few weeks :)
